Fort Pierce rapper, Trippy Locc, is knocking it out of the ballpark with his newest releases “In My Bag” and “Water Whip”. Building up a core following and dropping consistent high quality content throughout the year has been the motto for Trippy. Over the past 8 months, the rapper has accrued over 10,000 followers on Instagram. Trippy also has over 25 tracks on SoundCloud, each with over 2000 plays – In My Bag reaching over 10,000 plays in the past 3 months.
Born Jonathon “Jay” Moore on November 3rd, 1998 and raised in Port St. Lucie, Trippy Locc has persevered through the struggle of growing up with a single mother, as his father was incarcerated when Trippy was 2 years old. This was a factor in his rebellious upbringing, ending up in steady run-ins with law enforcement. School was a struggle for Trippy to trudge through, giving him more ammunition to write with. Trippy makes it a point to solely rap about events that have occured in his life.
The central Florida artist recently signed with Absolute Entertainment, a label and management company based in Ft. Pierce. Trippy has been rapping since he was 14 and has been at it nonstop.
