Bad Promotion Deal Leads to a No Show for the Jacksonville Rapper
(Miami, FL) Continued waves formed by Baby Soulja and his team at IMG Strongarm experienced some crashes when a promotion team in Marianna FL directed by DJ Dez, CMB, and GMC, seemingly dropped the ball on the urban rapper’s performance purse. The promotion team called Baby Soulja’s management at IMG/StrongArm where the infuriated veteran team confirmed there would be no appearance if the rapper was not paid in full, as the promotion trio did not have the check ready.
This is yet another example of poor coordination and communication that promoters seem to fall into more often than not. Promoters usually never get any of the backlash, as all fans see is their favorite artist not showing up to an event they paid for. Who takes the L at the end of the day? The headliner and the fan.
Baby Soulja took to Instagram to tell his fans in Marianna FL, the city where The Cave (the venue where he was supposed to perform at) is located.

A source inside of IMG/StrongArm confirmed that the promoters did not contact management until after 11PM the night of the event, right before Baby Soulja was supposed to perform. Marianna is a city near Pensacola, FL which is a close to an 8 hour drive. The Florida rapper has other events planned throughout the end of the year.
IMG/StrongArm is a record label management company run by CEO “4Mill” Thomas and StrongArm owner Lee “Freezy” Prince. The record label itself, International Music Group (IMG), is owned by best-selling artist, Flo Rida.
